THE SYNERGY 2,  DIGITAL TUNING MODULE WITH DIGITAL MAF COMPENSATOR          

The Synergy 2 is a combination of a Synergy 1 common rail tuning module and a digital maf compensator in one unit. It thus replaces a Synergy 1 and Mafam MF75p, though there is no disadvantage in using a Synergy 1if you already have a mafam fitted.

Currently, it is only available for BMW engines in the Rover 75, MG ZT, Freelander TD4 2000 to 2007 and some BMW vehicles that have the Bosch 5wire maf sensor. Please check as some BMW vehicles (NOT the 75, ZT or TD4) have a 4 wire Hitachi digital maf and the Synergy 2 isn't compatible.

It also facilitates the use of a Pierburgh maf sensor in these vehicles, saving you over £150 compared to fitting a OEM (Bosch) maf sensor.

* NEW * The Synergy 2e is now available where no extra bhp is required, so the performance above about 70mph is the same as standard. The throttle response, low down torque and maf compensation are the same as with a Synergy 2. Some insurance companies may accept the 2e as it is intended to  improve driveability, towing and economy only, rather than out and out performance.

We recommend you consider a Pierburgh maf if the existing sensor is over 3years old or 50k miles.
